A hand drawn animation and related charcoal drawings
The work was exhibited in March 2010 at The Gallery in Redchurch Street EC2
The hand drawn animation (5 minutes) and the 35 related charcoal drawings, shows the geographical, historical and cultural relationship between the Thames and Rhine. Hermes, (as a seal) and Pegasus appear as symbols of the imagination traveling free without the limits and constraints of time and history to be witnesses and our guides. The theme of unity, of land, people and culture is woven through the work.
