Chinoiserie

In the 18th and 19th Century, chinoiserie wall paper become popular and still adorns the walls of some of the grandest houses of Europe.

Drawing on these influences as well as Chinese painting, symbolism and philosophy, I design site-specific murals, using carefully selected images and colours. These beautiful designs are hand-painted directly onto the wall.

Some can also be made available as large-format, high-quality digital reproductions that can be used in the same way as wallpaper.
